Jointed Dexter Bit

Stainless steel with single jointed mouth. Used mainly in flat racing for horses that lug.
The large ring encircles the lower jaw to give the rider more control.  

It is availble in 5"/12.5cm with small or large links:

Small links: Smaller links to the jaw ring, which delivers greater stablility and reduces noise. It also includes a centre ring for a more direct action. 

Large Links: Large links to the jaw ring, which allow the ring to slide more easily. It also includes a centre ring for a more direct action.
