The Bombers Happy Tongue Eggbutt Loose Ring Bit features a solid mouthpiece that is uniquely ported to give maximum tongue relief. This is curved to be soft on the bars and slow in applying tongue pressure.

Made from a blue sweet iron, it oxidises easily which encourages salivation and encourages your horse to accept the bit as it is warm and sweet. It is a popular design recommended by Bombers for all young horses and those that show tongue sensitive signs. These signs can include a horse:
  • Shaking its head
  • Sticking its tongue out
  • Sucking its tongue back and as a result making an intermittent coughing noise
  • Trying to put its tongue over the bit
  • Going behind the bit to avoid the contact
  • Snatching the reins forward and down
Eggbutt Loose Ring cheek pieces prevents pinching of the lips and gives a more solid feel against the side of the face. It prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The Loose Ring allows quick release and no poll pressure.
